- During my work on the embroidery project last night, my husband was staring intently ... I'm sure concerned that I'm picking up yet another painstaking hobby haha... anyhow the following conversation ensued
- Hubby: You sure are artsy
- Me: Guess so
- Hubby: Sometimes it makes me concerned that I'm going to wake up in the morning and you are going to have embroidered me together!
- Me: Hahahahaha - what about knitting? I could start a scarf with your hair too?
- Hubby: NO THANKS
Places I’ll Remember
Here we go…. the tree is finished from my embroidery project, and I almost finished up the wording last night! Hopefully my title is a little hint!

I loved my weekend - so relaxing and wonderful… spent two nights listening to live music outside… baked a lemon blueberry bundt cake and sunned by the pool….
However, I did not do any knitting or finish my embroidery project or take pics of my progress - yikes!! I definitely owe you. Later, promise ;)
Sneak preview -
This was my original sketch for my first embroidery project… it is going to be a tree (clearly) with curly cue leaves and a nice little saying from one of my favorite Beatles songs… I’d say it is about 60% done, so I’ll post a true update later this weekend!

Studiesinscarlet’s post has inspired me… as such I’ve been off finding tutorials on different embroidery stitches…. this video library is amazingly helpful!
I am kind of dying to embroider my Stitches and Purls logo - think I can do it? Maybe I should try something slightly easier first :)
